Remote Learning Day Information
Beginning this winter, when a snow day occurs, students will be provided with a choice board created by their teacher. Students will be asked to select one activity from each of the following areas:
- Reading
- Math
- Writing or Science
Students will have three days to complete and submit their selected activities in order to be marked present for the snow day.
When we aware in advance that school will be closed due to weather, students in grades 3-5 will bring their devices home. On these days, students will be expected to complete assigned i-Ready lessons in addition to activities from the choice board.
All assignments and materials will be shared through Seesaw and/or Google Classroom, depending on your child's grade level and teacher.
Teachers will be available to support students and families:
- by email from 9:00 am to 2:55 pm
- via a Google Meet link from 9:00 am to 11:00 am (shared when the choice board is sent)
Please note that students are not required to log into Google Meet on snow days.
